Broette is the female equivalent of a bro. A female friend that guys see as a bro. We all know at least one broette and in my case, I am one. In this blog I would like to talk about my own experience as a broette, what it is like to be a broette, the advantages and disadvantages it comes with, and many other things. I will also interview other broettes I know to provide a different opinion and also different experiences as broettes. But first, I will introduce myself.
My name is Mirian Yaneth Gomez Vazquez, from the long name I bet you can tell I am Hispanic. I am 23 years old and the eldest of three kids. My mother and farther were blessed with three beautiful girls, and yes, my sisters are broettes as well. I do not consider myself a girly-girl because I have never been one. Growing up I was that girl that was always hanging out with guys and I felt entirely comfortable. Up until I choose to do my minor in dance I had to face the fact that I was going to have to learn how to do my make-up for performances and thanks to that I am pretty good when it comes to doing my make-up. I was going to have to learn anyway because I want to be a TV reporter and being honest, every female reporter that we see on TV wears make-up. I will like to talk more about myself but that will only ruin what is to come in this blog.
